David Seccombe holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Cambridge University. He has recently retired from 20 years as Principal of George Whitefield College in Cape Town and remains a Research Fellow of GWC and Affiliate Professor of New Testament at North-West University of Potchefstroom, South Africa. He was pastor of St Matthew's Shenton Park, Western Australia for 14 years.
David Seccombe clearly, thoughtfully and powerfully opens up the Letter to the Romans, one of the New Testament's most comprehensive theological statements. The words of the Apostle Paul, who wrote to an early church wrestling with the meaning of salvation and faith in a Jewish context, came to life for today's readers in this enjoyable and accessible commentary.
