The events recounted in the Gospel of Matthew when Jesus Christ walked this earth in the first century are at the centre of human history and reach into our time to tell us of the Messiah for all time and for all peoples. In this insightful commentary, Peter G Bolt leads readers through the account of Matthew, an historian, theologian and evangelist, who brings to us the life of Jesus and the hope of the kingdom to come. Matthew: A Great LIght Dawns illuminates a Gospel which continues to move people profoundly, touch them deeply, and make an impact on every corner of their existence.
Peter G Bolt is the Academic Director at the Sydney College of Divinity and was formerly the head of New Testament and Greek at Moore College, Sydney.
